Congratulations to all MMS Band students for a fantastic trip to Louisville this past weekend! The MMS Symphonic Band received a Superior Rating and First place in their class. The MMS Jazz Ensemble also received a Superior rating and was named Best Overall Instrumental Ensemble for the festival. Other honors include best overall section awards going to Flutes, Clarinets, Saxophones, trumpets, and percussion, and individual musician awards going to Gracie Ricks, Alex Kartje, Aaron Beavers, Adam Mikulay, Michael Wallace, and Cullen Cochran. Thank you to those parents who went as chaperones and tag-alongs! What a great way to end the year - Mr. Williams

This web site contains descriptive and promotional information in support of the Murphysboro Middle School music program and its members.
