Re: Southern Illinois Miners Game Performance, MEMORIAL DAY 2008

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Our very own MMS Blue Devil Band has been asked to perform our National Anthem before the Southern Illinois Miners game this coming Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2008. This is a tremendous opportunity for not only our students, but also the MMS Band program. Attached you will find a form to reserve tickets through the Miners front office. I hope many of you take the opportunity to order them. I would love to have one huge MMS section at Rent One Park that night to support our students and Murphysboro Middle School. The game starts at 7 PM. I am not expecting a final schedule until April. I will need all ticket information back by Monday, March 3rd. I apologize for such a short time frame, however with the snow and ice days, I did not receive the information until recently.
