MMS Bands Itinerary for May 9th Performances

On Friday, May 9th, the MMS Jazz Ensemble and Symphonic Band will be performing throughout the day. All MMS teachers have been notified that MMS band students should be dismissed at the times found below. We will use the following itinerary for May 9th:

Jazz Ensemble
11:15 AM	Jazz Ensemble meets in band room, dressed ready to go, load buses
11:30 AM	Depart.
11:45 AM	Arrive at Smysor Plaza, unload
12:00 PM	Performance at Smysor Plaza
12:30 PM	Conclusion of performance; possibly eat pizza, listen to high school, load
1:00 PM	Depart
1:10 PM	Arrive back at school
Symphonic Band
1:45 PM	Students report to Auditorium for warm-up, dressed in Concert Dress
2:15 PM	Concert begins for school
2:50 PM	Concert concludes, everyone helps move equipment back to the band room
3:11 PM	Normal dismissal time

Concert Dress for ALL MMS Band students:
Gentlemen:	Plain button-down white dress shirt or top, black pants, black belt, black shoes, and black socks
Ladies:	Black Evening Wear; black dress, skirt, or pant suit, black socks, black shoes. Nothing white or any other color except black. All ladies must WEAR ALL BLACK!!!
Jazz Ensemble Dress for Smysor:
Blue Devil Band T-shirt, multi-purpose athletic shoes and socks, khaki shorts.
