This unique ensemble serves as both the Marching and Pep Band for Murphysboro Middle School. Blue Devil Band marches in both the Kiddie and Apple Festival Grand Parades. The band also plays for the school’s Back to School Bash each fall (MMS Fall Sports Meet the Teams). Blue Devil Pep Band performs at one boy's and one girl's home basketball games during the months of November through January, as well as two home volleyball games during the month of February.
